Community Based Organization

Alogita Akide Initiative is a Non -Profit organization that was established and registred in 2023 with main mandate being Women Economic Empowerment and Financial inclusion through table Banking. Since inception we have spread to over two (2) Sub-Counties serving over 1500 women Organized in over 100 groups. We have indirectly touched over 5000 families and our main stakeholders being the Women whom we spread the Joy. Since then, Alogita Akide Initiative has grown to value governance, social accountability, human right and social-economic empowerement as the main pillars for social life and livelihood establishment as it operates across the Turkana County with forty nine (49) registered groups in Turkana East comprising of Women, Youth, Pleasants and Private sector. Our membership is : 70% Women, 25% Youth and 5% Minority groups. As a result we are also dedicated to join the team of Visionaries yearning to impact and develop the Turkana County. Alogita Akide Initiative aims at achieving sustainable results from developmental activities and Initiatives to our communities, especially with the Women, Youth, widows and People with disability.
